Known tradesman / sky pirate Captain Dredd Salaheem got into a tussy with Ishgardian Vincent Echelot. He was caught smuggling in refugees and makes a trades contract for an arranged marriage for the Echelot family's first born to be assigned Dredd's daughter.

Song soon would follow along on her forced relationship partner. She seemed to have interest in what he does and seeks to help those in need. Has some resentment against her father for not being allowed to stay in the fight at home.

A Pirates Life

..........The Salaheem family is a noble family from Radz-at-Han in Thavnair. They served as a major shipping and exports company for a long time with contracts between Eorzea, Thavnair, and Garlameld. Rumors around this family circulated stating that the head of the current house is a smuggler and has been pirating various ships during his privateering for Garlameld. Part of it clearly was true but for which side, many seemed to talk of them like modern day Robin hood types.

Dredd Salaheem and his wife gave birth to three girls, the middle one being Saya which they nicknamed song. She wished to be like her father and was a known problem standing up against local enforcement and even garleans.

This went on from a young age till even now.

TROUBLED CARGO

..........Song's father tried as much as he could but he could not keep his middle child out of trouble. He came to an agreement with the Echelot family in Ishgard to arrange a marriage with Song and their son Vincent, an Ishgardian Knight. This was done to get her far away from Thavnair after she kept sneaking aboard her father's ship.

Song would try to keep doing what she does but after a few months, Dredd would contact Elizabeth Mercer who would come and smuggle Song onto her ship by orders of Song's dad. This lead to a garlean face off in the sky above the Jade Sea.

After a long face off, Song would soon learn of the many deeds of the True Blue Lizzy....who in turn allowed Song to witness her torture a garlean for info before skinning him and tossing him over the side. She even left a note for Vincent via the father's request stating that his time at Thavnair is done for now and he is to return home and aid his bride settle in Eorzea.

A New Home

..........Song now in Eorzea has been staying with Vincent, but she is still seeking to help people like her father....this leads to various leves from different companies and even merc work. The Au Ra seemed to have a thirst for this kind of carrier and the excitement that comes with it.

Keeping the flame burning

..........Song began to take an interest in the Eorzean Alliance as she helped Dakwhil's company unpack and prepare for the grand opening of a sub division of the Eorzean Alliance. She noticed documents about thavnair and heard rumors about them becoming ready to handle issues that the Garleans were causing by using Thavnairian trades. This along with speaking to Miss Kari about the situations of her family made Song ready to enlist. The one issue....becoming a registered citizen of Eorzea and trying to become part of Bella's branch.

Who knows maybe this marriage with Vincent will knock out one of these issues.
